Last month we started our quilting community with a fabulous meet-up at the Wrap the World with Quilts headquarters. 10 intrepid quilters and 1 husband gathered to get to know each other, chat about our group's goals and focus, play games, and compete in a jelly roll quilting challenge!
Our overall purpose is to make quilting accessible to new quilters, learn more advanced techniques, and discover and explore creative quilting arts.
Learn, Grow, and Reach!
We want to build this community, and our meetings, so that we can always be sewing, at no cost to anyone, with people who love to share their knowledge of quilting with others, and be open to new ideas themselves.
Quilters really have an awesome chemistry-- even if our styles are different, our fabric and pattern choices completely at odds, we have the craft in common. We want to build a place for everyone.
So PLEASE, invite your friends, bring your projects, and join us on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm at the Civil Science Building, 3160 Clubhouse Dr in Lehi, Utah, in the basement offices. We can't wait to see you there!
Such a fun group!
